FLINT

FLINT is a proven, highly effective ‘mesostemic’ contact fungicide providing control of a broad spectrum of diseases, in several important horticultural crops.

Soon after application, FLINT becomes locked to leaf surfaces and waxy plant layers form a reservoir of fungicide, which is gradually released over time. This ensure the active ingredient is readily available when needed.

FLINT is also re-distributed to untreated parts of the plant by strong local vapour movement and translaminar activity, protecting the plant and ensuring crop yield and returns are optimised.

Luna Privilege

Luna Privilege now has a new formulation. Previously a 500 SC formulation, this has now changed to a 250 SC formulation. This means the application rate has changed. Please see the Luna Privilege 250SC User Guide for details.

There will be a small quantity of Luna Privilege 500 SC available in 2024. Please read the product label to ensure the correct rate is applied!

Luna Privilege is a systemic and protectant fungicide for the control of sclerotinia in kiwifruit and botrytis in greenhouse fruiting vegetables (except curcubits)

Luna Privilege contains fluopyram, a new active ingredient from Bayer that demonstrates excellent efficacy against a range of diseases, including sclerotinia and botrytis.

Luna Privilege provides long lasting protection because part of the active stays on plant surfaces, which allows small quantities to penetrate in over a longer period. Luna Privilege also exhibits upward systemic movement and translaminar activity which provides protection of untreated plant surfaces too.

Serenade Optimum

Serenade Optimum is a bio-fungicide/bactericide to aid in the control and suppression of powdery mildew and botrytis and sour rot in grapes, fireblight in pipfruit, botrytis on berryfruit, kiwifruit, persimmons and onions, and various diseases on avocados, citrus, lettuce and turf. Serenade Optimum is a new improved formulation to replace Serenade Max.

Serenade Optimum is a higher concentrated (2 x strength) formulation that is easier to use.

Aliette WG

Aliette WG is a systemic fungicide for the control of phytophora in ornamentals and non-bearing apples, kiwifruit, avocados and citrus.

Phytophthora

Phytophthora cinnamomi

A number of different soil dwelling Phytophthora species cause economic loss in crops including ornamental and nursery plants, apples, avocados and many more. Usually associated with water logged soils Phytophthora attacks roots and causes plant decline and even death. Symptoms are not usually obvious and seen as a decline in plant health and vigour.

Botrytis

Botrytis cinerea

Often called grey mould, Botrytis cinerea in wet seasons is responsible for the greatest crop losses in vineyards. Classically appears as bunch infections of browning berries with grey sporulation. Late season berry slip skin is also caused by botrytis. Botrytis can also be an issue in other crops including citrus, kiwifruit, onions strawberries and berryfruits.

Sclerotinia

Sclerotinia sclerotiorum

Is an important disease of kiwifruit causing crop losses through flower blight, premature fruit drop and fruit scarring. Sclerotinia (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum) infects kiwifruit over the flowering period and is favored by warm and moist weather conditions.
