Crop | Diseases Controlled |

Potatoes and field tomatoes | Late blight (Phytophthora infestans) |
Product Type | Fungicide |
Active Ingredient | Fluoxapiprolin 20 g/L (Group 49) |
Formulation Type | Suspension concentrate |
Pack Size | 5 litre |
Product Rate | 1L/ha |
Water Rate | Apply in a minimum water volume of 300 l/ha using ground based methods or a minimum of 50 l/ha by air. |
Application | Apply XIVANA Prime as part of a protective program of fungicides applied at 7-14 day intervals. Use the shorter spray intervals where conditions favour disease development and in periods of rapid crop growth. Commence application prior to the onset of disease. Apply up to a maximum of 3 applications. No more than two consecutive applications of XIVANA Prime may be made before switching to a fungicide with a different mode of action that shows no cross resistance to OSBPI fungicides. XIVANA Prime does not control early blight (Alternaria solani). For control of this disease XIVANA Prime may be applied in tank mixture with a registered fungicide for early blight control. |
Resistance Management | To reduce the risk of resistance developing, XIVANA Prime MUST only be applied in a tank mixture with an effective fungicide from a different chemical class, such as Mancozeb, applied at registered rates. |
Rainfastness | Rainfast when dry. For best efficacy, apply atleast 4 hours prior to heavy rainfall or overhead irrigation to allow the product to bind to targeted plant material. |
Withholding period | 7 days |
