Marc Fox

Brand Marketing Manager Horticulture and Biologics, Regional Business Manager, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay

Marc has more than 30 years’ industry experience, having worked as a technical field rep and as a farmer and orchardist before starting with Bayer in 2005.

His background ensures he has a good appreciation of both the seasonal and pest challenges that farmers face.

Marc has a diverse role that encompasses not only covering the Gisborne and Hawke's Bay area as a regional sales manager, but also looking after the horticultural and biological product portfolios as customer market manager.

In the regional sales manager part of his role, Marc provides technical and sales support to resellers for a wide variety of crops grown on the East Coast, including grapes, apples, kiwifruit, vegetables and arable crops. Most of these crops he has grown at some point in his career.

Much of Marc’s time is spent working closely with horticultural merchants in the regions, ensuring their understanding and applications of Bayer products are helping growers get the highest quality, lowest residual crops possible.

As Customer Market Manager, he is responsible for the marketing of Bayer’s horticultural and biological portfolios, and delivering technical support and information to the Bayer team.
