Pezothrips kellyanus

Kelly’s citrus thrips (Pezothrips kellyanus) is a serious pest of citrus crops, especially lemons and mandarins. Larvae feeding on young fruitlets causing characteristic circular stem end and scarring that results in downgrading of the fruit. Later season scarring damage can also occur on the sides of fruits especially where fruits are touching.
